Dog Friendly
It’s not that long ago that finding a dog-friendly hotel was all but impossible and even finding a dog-tolerant one difficult. Our owner faced the same challenge and would not stand for this at The White Hart. Worse was when they found a hotel that was dog friendly, they would be charged a fortune for nothing!!! No bed, no towel, not even a blanket, and imagine the restaurants and public areas of the hotel would not even allow their dog, Louis! So, when they took ownership of The White Hart they decided that they were going to try to make it the most dog friendly hotel in the country!
In efforts to make things better for our guests and their four-legged friends, who really are 100% true members of the family, and love holidays just as much as we do or have to accompany us on a work meeting or away day we have created the truly welcoming White Hart Hotel Dog Friendly options.
So… on arrival there is a dog amenity station, with homemade and sourced treats, towels (perfect for after a fab local walk if you have water and mud loving dogs) as well a few local walks and information on local dog friendly activities not forgetting a pile of spare poo bags just in case and of course a large bowl of clean fresh water!
In rooms, you can expect a dog bed in varying sizes perfect from anything to a chihuahua all the way to a dalmatian, there’s dog bowls, a blanket and towel, just for your pooch too, not forgetting a custom made White Hart homemade dog biscuit treat.
You dogs are allowed throughout the hotel and pub, we have 2 dog free bedrooms and 2 dog free tables in the restaurant. That’s it!
